Acceptance

I’ve recently realized that I’ve been hanging onto a lot of really negative thoughts. Like I mentioned in my previous post, I’ve been pretty resistant to change. It’s crazy how caught up we get in our lives over petty things. Here’s something I’m learning and implementing in my life: Sometimes you just need to accept things the way they are and move on from it. Sometimes your best friends don’t really turn out to be as great of friends that you thought they were. Sometimes you think your crazy ex-girlfriend has transformed back into this wonderful person who you fell in love with at the beginning of your relationship but guess what: the bitch is still crazy. Sometimes you realize your decent-paying  job isn’t all that rewarding or great. Rather than hanging onto all that shit and worrying about it, it’s time to accept things the way they are, tell fear to fuck off, make necessary changes, and MOVE ON. Seriously, once you can let all that garbage go, it opens up so much more room for positivity.

Don’t hang onto things that are negative in your life. You don’t need that shit, you’re better than that. Embrace that fact.
